DURALIFE INACTIVE SULFUR
CUTTING OIL
is recommended for metal removal, metal forming and slideway applications
on both ferrous and non-ferrous metals. This oil is non-corrosive to
copper ,brass, aluminum and its alloys. Its low viscosity provides good
cooling properties and adequate flushing of chips for machining of magnesium
(Note: oil emulsion in water should not be used for the machining of
magnesium due to the vigorous reaction between water and magnesium at
high temperature).
In metal removal operations, it provides lubricity and extreme pressure
characteristics and imparts good surface finishes to the machined part.
In slideway applications, it provide the necessary friction modification.
